Post Exhaust

I just bought a 2005 Supercab Fx4! I am debating one thing, Should i go with the flowmaster 40 series or magna flow? I have a 5.4 L Triton! I am looking for loudness but i do not want gurgiling and dont want it to seem cheap? Flowmaster or Magna-flow? which one?

First off:
Congrats on your new truck, and welcome to the site. This pace is great, you will find answers to (darn near) all of your questions.

Now to the exhaust:

You will get a better sound from the Flowmasters, but more power from the Magnaflows.

If all you want is sound, go with Flowmasters, but if you are serious about getting more horses from your new truck, the only way to go is Magnaflow.

Hope this helps, if you decide to go Magnaflow, let me know, I know some places where you can get great deals!

Better sound w/ Flowmaster? That's a preference. I really dislike baffled muffler noise.

I only recommend Flowmaster to someone who knows its distinct tone and loves it. Otherwise, most people would prefer Maganflows more refined note, and the power as a bonus.
