O2 Sensors Time To Change????

I have a 1997 f-150 4.6. The truck has 70000 miles on it. Just wanted to know if I should replace the stock O2 sensors or clean them and if so how would I go about cleaning them. And if I replaced them what would be a good brand? Thanks.

i was in the same boat as you 2000 5.4 with 70k and i didnt kno if i should or not... well i got alot of posts saying that if they were me they would and i would get a little more mpg and throttle response. so i went ahead went to napa and got 2 bosch front o2's ( the rear ones dont effect performance their just there to make sure the cats arent clogged) it took a while to do since it was my first time .. couple hours alot of it was waiting for my exhaust to cool down... just look in the engine section bottom of the first page or top of second.. my post should be there
