2004 f150 exhaust

I currently own a 2004 f150 fx4, 5.4L supercab truck and I am looking to buy a exhaust system. The two I like are the gibson si/so side swept, and the si/so magnaflow? Has any one have either of these systems, and how do you like them, any improved horsepower or gas milage? Any issues or dislikes?
thanks

I have the Gibson SI/SO. I'm happy with it. It's probably the quietest system on the aftermarket. It's only slightly louder than stock but it sounds much better, more rumble. I put a 4"x18" stainless tip to make it look better. The tip also made the sound much deeper. My goal for an exhaust was increased MPG. Any HP I picked up were a welcome side effect but I was after the mileage primarily. I picked up 1.5MPG in the process so it works out pretty good & I got a nice side effect of about 15HP.

KC-10 FE out...

I have a flowmaster exhaust and it is very loud but not a rumble sound. It is more of a sporty sound but still sounds great ! i think you should get the corsa exhaut as that is very good looking, very loud and still has a nice rumble ! it is expensive but is a very well built exhaust. Check it out at www.corsaperf.com. I hope this helps, good luck.

I don't have either, but, from reading dozens of posts by people who do, it seems like the Magnaflow setup is the best.

thanks for all the posts. I am still torn between the gibson and the magna flow. the interior drone is what i am concerned about. is the magna flow to loud? i heared the gibson is more mellow.
thanks

I just purchased a 22" Magnaflow SISO with a 3" pipe. My main reason for buying was better gas mileage and a beefier sound. After only having it on for 4 days I'm already seeing a slight increase in gas mileage. The problem is that the sound isn't that great. It's not much louder than the original when at idle and has a mid-range monotone sound when the gas is pressed. If I could do it over, I would get an 18".

I have the Gibson Dual Extreme system in stainless. The dual side exhaust looks great and sounds good. It definitely is a great improvement over the stock systems.

if all you want is the performance without the sound just make sure that you get somethin with a long body. that should take care of most the sound and in cab drone.
