I just ordered a 3.5"x12" tip with a 2.5" inlet, will this fit my stock piping. I know my muffler is a 2.5", but someone was saying in a previous post that they needed a tip with a 2.75" inlet for it to fit the stock piping. Anybody know?

 

pipes are measured two ways. Inside and outside diameter. you'll need to know how your tip is measured and how your factory pipe is measured.

you should be able to get under your truck with a tape measure and get an idea of what the dimensions are.
