Question Some many mufflers

There are so many muffler out there to pick from and I can not decide on which one. I need some help. I had a 92 dodge dakota with flowmasters 40 series sounded great but crappy tranny, go figure its a Dodge. I know I was asking for problems when I got out of my 93 Ford. Back to my problem I know Flowmasters are loud and sound good but kill your low end, however Flowmaster now makes a new muffler called Hush power II and the sound clip sound sweet, but I don't think my truck will sound like that. So here is my question: I have turbo muffler si/do now and is to quiet I want a good srong sound that is not way over bearing when crusing down the highway at 80 but yet if I pull up next to some rice burner that is showing out withhis fart can I want to make sure that they can hear my exhaust as I pull up next them. I thought about glasspack but I really dislike that popoing noise that they make. Should I go back to the flowmasters or is there a better choice?

Thanks!

If you only care about how it sounds, repalce the OEM muffler only with a Flowmaster (since you like how it sounds) 40 series. Changing the muffler only won't improve or take away much, if any, power at any engine speed.

I have spin tech on my truck and love it. Sounds similar to flowmasters but have better flow numbers. just throwing this name out there, very good quality and they have several series to chose from.
