Exhaust and body lift

I put a 3" body lift on my 98 F150 and i noticed that the exhaust hangers are attached to the frame so the exhaust sits below the body more then i would like. Its a stock exhaust right now but i am planning on upgrading soon. Is there a quick fix to this or am i stuck with the exhaust tip coming out from were it is right now. Also when i do upgrade what should i look into so the new exhaust system does not have this same problum?

Chop everything off from the engine back, cut two holes in your hood, invert your headers and make them stick out.

No really, I don't really know. I know several people that have the exhaust and the body lift. Most of them cut it off after the muffler and put a turndown in. I don't think there's really a quick fix for it...

I use to have a Z71 w/ a 3" body lift and had exhaust put on after the body lift. Go to a muffler shop and they will use shorter hangers that will hold the exhaust pipes or tips 3" closer to the frame. It will look good.
