dual or singel mufler conversion on a o4 f-150
I own a 2004 f-150 with a 5.4, Truck is a regular cab 4x4 with a 8 ft box. I'm looking for a cat back system and I'm not sure if a dual set up is better than one large mufler.
If I go with two muflers, I will deleat the y pipe and run pipes from each manifold, than mount the muflers side by side, side ways and run the pipes out the side like a f-150 lightning.
The factery mufler is huge and I have ample room to do this.
If only change the mufler and keep the y pipe and upgrade to a three inch pipe would this give me more power/performance than two 2 and a half inch pipes? I'm not sure what the stock exhaust size is. but my idea is to keep the same size times 2.
And will thease mods mess up the o2 sensor?
