Question on "Y" installation?

OK. I want to clear some things about the exhaust system I want to install. I first want to replace the stock restrictive "Y" pipe, but am unsure as to what size or what brand. After the new "Y" pipe I want to flow into a Ravin Z33 SI/DO. Would it also be wise to reduce pipe size to 2.25" and would I reduce before muffler or after muffler. Thanks in adavance.

I think it's 2.25" in / 2/4" out but I'm not 100% sure.

Mike Troyer is a supporting vendor, he sells Magnaflow (Magnaflow makes a Y-pipe, I used to have one) and most folks are happy customers. I'd give them a call, they are super friendly over there.
