Question Decision time...RAVIN or ? (NO DRONE)

Ok...my screw was delivered today (5/23). Picking it up Friday. I was planning on a Ravin Z-55 system duals out the back. But...I have heard a few people say that they have an in cab drone with this system or any other. I really need some help as I was gonna get it done within the next 10 days. I have a price of $299 plus tax for the Z-55 with duals out the rear with 3" tips.

SCOOBY14B,
I have the same set-up that you are planning and I have no drone in the cab on the highway.

Hey Scooby, I have the Z33 and love it, it doesn't have too bad of a drone, so the Z55 shouldn't be too loud. $299 is also a good price.....I paid $349 for the same setup except I got the Z33 instead of the Z55 but all the mufflers were the same price at my Local Midas.

I have to agree with GoDogGo. I have the Z-55 system and love it. Driving 50 miles highway each way to work, I'd hate to have to do it with the cab humming. LOL Good luck!

Scooby 14b Hi;brother truck lover.Lets me say that.the Ravin z-55 is the best sounding system Ive heard.I went right out and had one installed. 325.00 out the door with the crome tips on also. If you can get it done for under that go for it..I do however have a slight drone in the 1500 to 2000 rpm range. But Iam old and dont drive like you kids so the drone will only last you a couple of seconds..lol. while your at it go for the JBAs Hedders and have it all done. GoDog is right,.youll love it...Good luck Oldgray

Hi OLDGRAY,
Yea, I love those JBA's too, glad it worked out for you. I have to agree, installation wasn't too bad other than just time consuming. I'm trying to figure what my next mod will be....still can't get that supercharger out of my mind..lol!!

micp125,
For the Ravins, you have to price check and compare at your local Midas shop. Recently I went true duals, I purchased the Ravins from Midas and I free issued them to the exhaust shop of my choice for installation.
