3" pipes wont fit past rear axle
I have a muffler back Z33 3" SISO
and wanted to upgrade to Z33 DIDO 3"
from cat back.
My question is, where can I get the pipes that
go from the cats to the muffler?
Another thing I noticed is that there is
no room (acording to Midas tech) to put in
a dual setup, out the back 3"...
Anyone have any pics, so I can print and show
the tech a Midas how it is done?
I'd just love to stick it in his face, as he
was kinda rude about the whole thing
Thanks in advance folks,
Have a great long weekend.
Cheers~!

Don't know about a DI/DO setup. Never seen that for a '97 and newer F150. Do you mean a dual muffler setup? You'd have to cut out the factory "Y" pipe to get to the right and left pipes. All the SI/DO setups seem to use 2.25" or 2.5" tailpipes. Something to do with keeping the backpressure up so the torque loss is kept to a minimum. Then everyone just puts on large diameter tips. Like 3.5 - 4" ones that are 18-24" long.
I've heard it's tight with 2.5" dual tail pipes. I'd think it just depends on how good of a "bender" you can get.

Thanks MitchF150,
I was going to use 1 muffler with DIDO,
and cut the "Y" so that I only need 1 pipe
from the other cat...
I was not aware that ppl use 2 1/2" after
the cats...
Therefore I assume that is stock size..
And as far as Tips go, I guess I'd go with 4 1/2".. Make her look nice an mean..
Thanks again for your response.
