Ravin Z55 installed on Supercrew - Jury Still Out!
I just had the Ravin catback installed SI/SO with 3" pipes in the stock position. My initial reaction is I am disappointed. Based on recommendations I've read here, I expected no loss of low end power and no drone. I get a definite harmonic resonance that vibrates in the cab at about 1800 rpm during low to medium acceleration. If I stomp it, I get the resonance at the upshift. Midas clamped the system rather than weld it so I'm hoping it just needs tightening and I don't have to switch systems. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? I was looking for more HP with no cabin drone and a deep growl when I step on it. I know this type of thing is subjective. Someone else might like the noise, not me. I want to hear it when I stomp on the gas, otherwise I don't. What do you all recommend?

I think that you are asking for alot here...
I have the z33 and I know exactly what you mean by the 1800rpm drone resonance in the cab.. Thats the best part that I like....
In fact I love, and I want it only louder..
I try to drive my truck at 1800rpm most of the time... so that it sounds sweet..
As far as the z55 goes, that should not of been
giving a resonance in your cab???
At any rate, I hope you get what you want either way
