Just curious..
Is a supertrap setup just the tips?

As far as I know Supertrapp doesn't sell anything other than the muffler. I've had them on several vehicles and was impressed. They do get loud if you don't repack them, and that's the only reason there isn't one on my '95. The "tip" is the actual muffler. They are nothing more than high tech glass packs using the discs that allow you to tune the back pressure. IT DOES WORK! You can change the power curve quite a lot by changing the number of discs.

As for the Mustang comment I agree. There is a 'Stang in my area with two 5" Supertrapps and it sounds killer! Makes the Flow equipped Mustangs sound mellow...

Hey Signmaster,

So it is just a tip huh,
well in that case, can you have for example
a Ravin Z33 as I do, and add the supertrap tip? would this be useless, or hard on the engine? How do you know how many plates to add
for your specific application? Would this be something that you bring into a professional shop to have tuned up for you?
Thanks again for your reply.
