OK, I took the day off Friday. The night before, I decided I wanted to get exhaust, and I wanted it now. I had no time to wait for truck performance.com but they did have good prices. So I hit Gibson's dealer locator, and called all of them until I found one that had it in stock. Yes! OK, I went to get it and just for the hell of it asked if they would match a price off the internet. He said no, that he would beat it. 269.99!!!!!!Another Yes!!! So I took my bargain home and cut and wrenched. Upon start up I was very excited. It sounded better than I expected. Then I drove it and that is where the dissapointment came it. Off Idle it felt spongy and sluggish. Used to, if I gave it alittle too much gas, it would surge forward, now if I do the same, it just accelerates. I know many of you have noticed no decrease, but this is unmistakeable. Any one know how to help the low end besides gears...???

I installed my Gibson Super Truck this weekend too, I have the 4.6L 5 speed and noticed some improvement in the low end! Man this system does sound sweet! Guy at my work drives a 00 Ram 5.9L w/ Flowmaster duals and said my truck sounds better and deeper than his!
