I changed my 73 F250 to duals with Heddman headers and boy did it make a diference! I just checked, and there is a problem listed for Camper Special and swaybars. Unless you are planning on hauling around a big camper I'd lose the swaybar and go for headers...

PAW in California lists a set of their headers (#PHX-7133) for your truck and it shows no restrictions except 68-72 Camper Special Gas tanks. Maybe these would work? $104.95 Give them a call at 818-678-3000 They also have Heddman and Hooker(which doesn't show any restrictions either) Stick with 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" tubing.

One other thing, be very carefull when removing the top exhaust manifold bolts. They pass thru the flange and have a tendency to rust. I broke one of mine had had to drill it out.. not fun..

kyf250,

Another site worth checking out is www.ford-trucks.com. They have good fourms for all years and models of Ford trucks. I'm sure there will be plenty of help there for your 73 era Ford! Have fun!

Have you ever driven a truck or anything else without an anti-sway bar? Let me tell you it is a scary experience,,lol. Try disconnecting your end links and going for a ride, you may agree. Or are you talking about the rear bar? I'm confused
I'm not trying to tell you what to do,but just try it first. Good luck,,,,98
