Post what exhaust?? now i can't decide

Alright. I know I've posted enough messages about exhaust but... heres one more. I want it to be loud but not so loud that I will get pulled over. What would you guys recomend? So, I guess I'm saying I want it to be barely legal!

97 gmc suburban 4wd 5.7L V8, sorry I had no choice on wether ford or gmc.

Id recommend Flowmaster 40series mufflers. They sound real mean and are the loudest youll find. Ive heard them on many 350's,like you have, and they sound BADA$$. Do it...youll like it!

Cool

I have the FlowMaster 1 in and 2 out with 3" x 24" echo tips and sounds great.

Dellyman,

Get a Midas Performance muffler. It has a neat mellow rumble at idle and will definitely "bark" when you open her up.

I,ve got the flowmaster 30 series on my truck and love it. It's not too loud, but u definitely know it's there. One day I pulled a jeep out of a mud pit, and everyone watching said it "growled" yanking that piece of junk out.

Ive got the 2 1/4" in and 2x2.5" out. Fake duals but it looks like it's got some ***** from behind. I put the edelbrock stainless steel innercooled tips on them. What's funny is, their starting to rust inside. Stainless steel?

I thought you ask this last week. The loudest muffler is a Flowmaster 40's, the next loudest is a Dynomax Ultra-flow.

Question

Where would the Dynomax Race Magnum rank?

Wink

Dynomax race mufflers (oval, round,& bullet) are all as loud or louder than the Ultra-flow welded (a street muffler). All race mufflers feature straight through design w/fiberglass packing and are = to or shorter than the street series mufflers. This is also the design of the Ultra-flow welded and SS, but not the Super-turbos. Dynomax has a tech line that has the actual decibel levels of all their mufflers and some competitors. Flowmaster 40s are a few decibels louder than Ultra-flows.
