Help please

ok I'm new to these forums im 17 and i work for my uncles landscaping company I just went and bought an '04 f150 stx 4x2 now I wanted to throw on the banks power exhaust and was looking at a couple of suspension packages along with some new rims and tires problem is the whole warranty thing what am i allowed to do to keep from voiding the warranty also anyone know what i would need to do perhaps the cheapest way to fit 33's on there

Your warranty is only void if they can prove that the mod caused the problem. For example if you rear end goes out and you have an exhaust mod, Ford should still pay to get the rear end fixed. They will still try to get out of it and say that the mod made the part go bad, but it is impossible that an exhaust mod caused the rear end to go bad.

Keep in mind that was just an example.

This is prob the wrong forum to ask the suspension/tire question. You may get better response on that part in the suspension area of the board.

Most cat-back exhaust mod will not void a warranty on the engine anyway, but if you start messing with the cats you may have a problem since they interface with the electrical system also.

If you want to run 33's you can put a body lift on it,pretty cheap, or turn torsion bars and use a leveling kit. With a 4x2 your gears are probably not suited for pulling those tires, you're gonna lose a lot of power. Especially on take-off. I have a 5.4L 4x4 with 285/70/17 with 3.55 gears and they took some of my power so think about regearing if you got to have the 33's.
