Borla cat back
I'am new here, do anyone knows about the Borla cat back system?? I went through all the subjects but i did not see any one talk about Borla, looks like Flowmaster and Gibson are the prefered of the group, I just got my 2000 F150 5.4 Toreador red 4x4 Flareside, and thinking of upgrading to superchip a cat back K&N filter etc. any sugestions.
hi kevin 3636 here.the borla is ok,but the price is to high.the power is the same as a flow master and about the same tone.the gibson is for low end power.go with the single out the side one,its for towing.i have the gibson, itsnot loud, but sounds like a big block.its a goodsound , like it and i'm 23 years old.the price is around 250 to 275.my best mod so far was a set of headmen headers for 260 bucks.i put them on after the gibson,KaN fipk.so that my be why they made a big,big diff.then after that i added a jacobs ignition+wires, then a power aid t-body spacer. today i orderd a superchip from mike.i had it 2 day ups,so i can have it for friday night.if you have any qustions e-mail me at Pchewychump1@msn.com.i hope this helps you. I have a '98F250 LD, 4.6 with the Borla Dual out the back. I know it is expensive but I plan on keeping this truck, it is solid stainless , sounds fantastic, and seemed to add a good deal of pep to the truck. Love my Borla! I got mine at RV Performance, they will ****er if you can find a cheaper price on the internet.
Just had the Borla installed this week. Nice mellow tone but if someone is looking for loud, which I wasnt the Borla wont fit the bill. Nice tone, power increase and the truck seems to drive a lot easier power wise all around.
