Post Just had duals installed

First post from another newbie.

After reading everyone's posts regarding exhaust systems I decided to go ahead with the true duals on my 2000 S/C ORP with a 5.4.

I had the y-pipe cut and ran two pipes(2.25 inch to keep the torque up) with a balance tube down to Flowmaster 40's and straight out the back ending with 20" by 3.5 chrome slant cut tips.

Sound is just perfect. Nice rumble at idle, fairly decent growl when you get on it but barely noticable at 75 mph. Absolutlely no drone or resonance. Exactly what I was looking for especially with 35 mile commute each way.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their assistance and let others know the end result.

Ghost-
If I can ask a couple of questions...

What type of vehicle do you have?
Where did you get it installed?
How much did the entire install run you?

Looking to put a performance exhaust on my Expy to compliment the SuperChip and Airaid.

Thanx for any information you can provide and congrats on the upgrade!

I have a 2000 S/C xlt ORP w/5.4 auto.
I had the system installed at a local shop which does custom exhaust work.
The whole system cost approx $380.
