Cobra,
My bro-in-law has it on his '97. He ordered it through the mail and everything went on without a hitch. I'm sure if anything has changed on the 2k's they're on top of it.

Cobra,
I have a Gibson split-rear exit on my '97 EC 4x4, and I love it. It has a nice smooth sound that is not too loud especially inside the cab. When I get on the gas hard, it really sounds nice. As for performance, I have noticed a small increase in gas mileage, but not the 10% that Gibson advertises. It seems like the truck runs more smoothly, and when I go to the passing lane or pull something, the truck never hesitates. I installed it myself with the help of a friend and it only took about 1 1/2 hours. The instructions were very strait forward and easy to follow--no problem. I'm doubt there are any changes on the 2000 model, but like Nickster said, I'm sure Gibson is on top of it if there are. I would not hesitate to buy another one for my next truck.

I did not lose enough low-end torque to even notice. I opted for the 2 1/2" exhaust instead of the 3" for that very reason. Between 2000 and 3000 rpm is where I notice the advantage in torque, just like Gibson advertises.

Many more modifications to come

Cobra99 I have the Gibson Dual Sport on my 99' S/C shortbed and it sounds great. I had mine installed at a local muffler shop for 40 bucks. They had it in complete in 20 minutes and welded all the joints. Adding the K&N filter seemed to give me a few more decibels from the exuast. I also noticed no drop off in low end torque(the dual sport uses 2 2 1/4" pipes with 3" stainless tips.
