Post 40 series flows?

I have a 97 with a 4.6 and a 5spd. Right now im runnin a 70 series, 2 chamber , dual inlet, dual outlet. Well its just not loud enough for me. I was wondering if 2 40 series mufflers is gonna flow too much air and was wondering if i would loose too much backpressure?

Thumbs up

Too low back pressure is not a problem. Too large of a diameter exhaust pipe is. As long as you stay with the correct size for your engine, you can use the best flowing muffer there is. I think for the 4.6L engine, they recommend 2.5" dia pipe for single exhaust and 2.25" for a dual system. Give them a call.
