Is any body running a magnaflow 5x8x14 inch muffler in a si/so layout? Will this muffler create any drone in the cab?

 

I just got a 5x8x18 SI/DO MagnaFlow (#12278) installed last Friday. Under constant speed, there is NO drone. You only here it when you punch the gas.

Going to a 14" would result in a louder exhaust system. Just not sure how loud it would be.

 

i have the 14" magnaflow si/do. no drone in the cab. it has a nice deep sound. sounds excellent when you step on the gas.
