i'm looking for a good cat-back exhaust system for a '97 4.6L f150....which do you think is the best "sounding" (i'm looking for deep louder sound) out of these:
flowmaster force II w/ 50 series
the ravin exhaust system (z33)
or something else????

on my 98 4.6, i cut out the muffler and putina Y pipe and ran dual tailpipes. (no mufflers). Nice deep rumble, not obnoxiously loud, but definetely sounds loud and growly. Would be a very cheap setup to do since you dont have to buy a muffler. Should run b/t 200-250 with tips.
If you dont like the sound, you can always buy a muffler of your choice to weld in.

 

does any one know if the ravin z33 exhaust system is louder than z55 system...i imagine it woulud....just wondering, i'm thinking of going with the ravin z33 system ne way

 

50 series flowmaster sounds grat on my 97 4.6!

 

Flowmaster Force II is a great sound under heavy acceleration and while at cruising speeds. It seems like a worthy set up to me!
