I see alot of 1999 F-150 owner's have the
Gen.Two performance kit,I called K&N and they said they are waiting for some Calfornia smog law too pass and they DO NOT have a model for my truck which is a 1999,5.4 f-150.So whats up, can some one give me a part number.

Be carefull!!
The gen 11 is a good product except they didn't provide enough support for the heavy head of the filter so it tends to drop and rub on the wiring under it unless you protect it!! I sell new and used trucks in Dallas at a major dealership and have one myself so I know.

k&n is having problems with the support bracket and they just e-mailed me that they are redesigning the fipk and that it won't be ready until late november.

I put a small sponge under mine and it solved the rubbing issue. I also put the wire harness under the medal bracket with no problems.
