Yes, I left the Y pipe on, splits after the muffler to dual out. After much research, I found that the true dual "unless done with a tested muffler and setup" will gain no advantage over a catback system and often will further reduce performance in the low end.

I guess I ticked dogcam off by stating this opinion, but it is just my observed and researched opinion, not an expert advisement.

Hope you make the best choice for your need.

Ok. Well, I had duals installed already, with glasspacks. I ordered two FlowMaster 40's today to replace the two glasspacks. Hopefully I'll get my torque back. I just hope the FlowMasters are LOUD enough for me.
