Post Regaining torque with FIPK

I have a Gibson Dual outlet Cat back exhaust, and I have noticed the loss in low end torque, but have also noticed a slight increae in fuel economy and high end power. I was wondering, would you gain back the low end torque by adding an FIPK. Does anyone know the actual cfm increase? Would the increase flow offset the added volume of the dual outlets?

Any thoughts?

Shad,

A FIPK will give you more of the same gains that your catback exhaust gave you. More top end power and maybe a slight loss of low end torque.

Off topic: Did you ever live in New Mexico? I had a friend from there by the name of Shad.

Todd,

Just Curious, I am in the process of ordering a pair of Jacobs Spark Plug Wires for my truck, how have yours held up and do they perform well for you?

Thanks

Thumbs up

forgeur,

I've used them on two of my vehicles and think they are great. They are warrantied for life so if they ever go bad, Jacobs replaces them for free. No questions asked. They cost $62 for my 4.9L, so I'm sure they would be priced in the neighbor hood for your 4.2.

Don't worry, you made a great purchase. Enjoy!
