Post Best Deal on Borla?

Has anyone found a Borla dealer selling their kits cheap? Or who is the most reasonable on their kits?? I want one for my 99 Expedition 5.4 4x4... I checked with Jeg's Mail order and they are still $500.

Thanks
Fred

That's about the best you're going to do on a Borla system for that vehicle. Borla dealers don't get much of a discount from Borla, so for the most part, the only people that discount them very much at all are Jeg's & perhaps Summit racing. Most dealers buy from them as well, simply because unless you're doing at least a million dollars a year with Borla, you don't get much of a discount on their products. I've been a Borla dealer for years, and have yet to buy a system from Borla, we always have to go thru someone else to get any kind of price break.

Be glad you aren't driving a Corvette, those Borla's are about $1200 or so!

Good luck,

FastFreddy, is that price for a dual or a single? $500 is a good price for the dual, because I bought mines when it first came out in the end of "97 and I waited almost 2 months for borla to ship it to me. I can't remember but I think I paid about $650 for the dual rear exit and I am very happy with it. It's not as loud as others but it sounds great. I also had to pay an extra $80 to a muffler shop to install it. The only problem I encounter is the other week the rubber hanger broke on me and I have to contact borla for the part.

Just curious, what's the Borla sound compared to like a flowmaster 70 series ? Mellow ? agressive ?

The $500 price is for the standard kit with the single tip in the stock location.
