Just wanted to thak you guys (and gals) for the help. Today I had a 40 series Flowmaster put on my truck with duals out the back. I also added a K&N air filter. I'm not sure if it's just the thrill of the rumble or not but she seems to be a lot more responsive. As soon as I can convince the better half that I need a chip I'll get one.

yea, that 40 really has an aggressive sound doesn't it Tell the wife that the chip will make it sound even better!!! (at least I thought so)

Hi JJHarris,

On your 40 series muffler, is that a single in dual out, or did you use two 40 series mufflers?

I have the Force II kit that is also dual out rear. However, it uses a 50 series muffler and I sometimes wish it were a bit louder.

Also, what was your total cost for the installation?

Dirk, it's just a single muffler system. I was thinking about going with two mufflers but decided not to. It sounds great and cost me $240 for everything including 3" tips.
