Headers

I hear lots of people installing things after the cat, which I have done as well, but does anybody have any trials with headers? Type and was the installation difficult or pretty simple. Thinking of the Edelbrocks myself, but I don't see a lot of room in there to put these things on. Thanks "Nevermind, just saw the other thread. Sorry"

I am going for the JBA shorty headers myself. there are alot of threads that claim the install was time consuming because of access, but generally not that difficult. I am going to see what I can get them installed for before I decide to do it.

The JBA's seem to be the popular ones along with the Gibson's.(Same ones as claimed?)There are three in consideration, JBA, Edelbrock, and Ford. I wanted to get in with the group order for the JBA's, but $$ are short for another few months. Have to get the lift on and tires first.

tell me about the lift and tire setup you are going with? I'm getting the headers first, then the lift and tires.

Wsection, just going with a 3" body lift for now. Suspension will have to wait for a while. For tires, leaning heavily towards the 36" Super Swamper SX's on 16.5x9.75 Centerline type 33 polished rims. If the lift ever gets here.

Lovell1, too far away from any Ford dealers to worry about a warranty.

Has anyone checked to see whether or not headers will void the warranty? I hear of a lot of people putting them on, and some of the adds say they won't effect the warranty. I wondered if anyone has checked into it. It's the holiday weekend, I'll give my dealer a call tues. before getting in on the JBA deal here. Does anyone know already though?
