Want to go dual.. need to remove spare?

I have an 04 Supercab Flareside with the 5.4L - 6.5" bed and looking to go with dual exhaust out the rear. Am being told that I will have to remove the spare. Any one know any systems that'll fit or any place in the NYC area that does this work?

i've got true duals on my 2000 f-150 and the spare is still there. All you have to do is get someone who can bend the pipe to make it fit. I didnt have that much trouble doing it.
What type of muffler are you planning to use?

Any competent muffler shop should be able to get around the spare tire without a problem. Thats BS about removing the spare tire.:santa:

I guess they are talking about pre-made kits from Borla and others... says you have to remove the spare.
Guess I'll look for a shop to bend the pipes around the spare.
