Adding glasspacks????

I have a 1997 F-150 with a 5.4. I have took off my mufflers, cats, put straight pipes on it and put 3 inch piping from the manifolds. it is loud but i want it to be louder. Im wanting to put on glasspacks. How will this change the sound of my truck.?Will it be louder.?How much?

glasspacks will make it quieter.that 3" pipe is your problem, the bigger the diameter of your pipe the quieter and deeper the sounds.

thats bout as loud as its gonna get. Cut the pipe at the collector if u want it louder. Anything u put back on is gonna quiet it up like witey said. Suppose u could put some long tube headers on it true dual and leave em open. That would make it louder.
