Unhappy Gibson Supertruck gone at 49K miles.

It broke at the rear exit, but not at the weld. It showed a lot of rust in the inside with many rusty parts falling from the inside. I was expecting more, but you never know. No extreme conditions here, but keeping in mind that most of the time the truck is at 2-7 miles from the coast.

Looking for a new system, so I am all ears for suggestions. Looking for something like the Supertruck, dual out, may be louder, protect the low end, will go with 3.5"or 4" SS tips......, may be a system or just a muffler to be installed in a shop....

After all I was satisfied with the sound and performance of the Gibson.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I have a Flowmaster 40 series delta flow SIDO. I had my local Meineke bend the pipes out in front of the wheel and use 3" tips.

I love the sound. It is loud outside and quiet inside.

Question

tstjohn

Have you been able to compare the sound of that 40 series Delta with a non Delta (I think I mean two chambers).

The delta flow is deeper but probably as loud as an original 40 series. It is much quieter inside the cab.
