True duals vs SI/DO

I'm in the process of upgrading my 04's exhaust. I can either go with true duals or the si/do setup. My muffler of choice is the Flowmaster 40 series.

Anyone here have any experience with a side by side comparison? I'm curious if the addl cost of the true duals will pay off in performance, mpg and sound quality.

My only experience is with 40 series weld-ins on my 03 Mustang GT w/true duals/factory h-pipe. Loved the sound but I assume the 5.4 is a little louder due to the addl displacement.

Thanks in advance, Jerry

True Duals I would love them if my dad would let me put them on. Sounds badass. Powerful. Wouldn't go anyother way when I get my own truck. Put true duals on my camaro and love it. Nothing beats that sound.

to do it right

longtube headers, x pipe- 2 1/4 " tubing- but the power would be more mid to topend- plus more weight- in cost to hp ratio unless you do the longtubes to retain torque- it's a waste of money unless it's superchraged

Do true duals. You won't be disappointed. They rock
