welcome to the site
Congrats on the new for you truck

The exhaust will depend on how loud you want to be as well as performance. I'm going with a Magnaflow catback myself. Do a search or three, you'll come up with some excellent ideas..

The majority of "do it yourself kits" run for anywhere from 350-700, Depending on Brand and type of Setup. Most shops that use their own parts usually charge around 400. I personally just had a dual exhaust setup put on up here in alaska and it cost me about 550.00. And, now im regretting not going with the magnaflow muffler, so in all and all, save up for the right thing. I was just trying to get a short cut cause I heard from a few guys they did good work. Piping is nice, but the muffler they used was crap. I also have 4 cats on my truck so it makes it even funner. Just take a look on google for "magnaflow, flowmaster, borla, gibson" and see what online prices ya get. It will atleast give ya an idea on the price your looking at.

Flowmaster

I had a single in dual out flowmaster 40 Delta Flow series muffler with the wide oval stainless tips put on my truck for $320 included tax.

The System sounds awsome and looks great!! There are other systems out there it all depends on how much you want to spend.

As far as your free F150, I wish I had a Dad like yours, He should be getting a real great B-Day present, Christmas and Father Day gift on the next go round and father of the year!!

Good Luck.

Heh, notice the price hike from the lower 48 to Alaska. I was going to order that magnaflow si/do from troyerperformance, but the 140.00 shipping to Alaska just wasnt going to cut it. :P

I put a Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow on mine and I love it. Great sound outside, very little inside. I think the only reason I hear it inside at all is that I exited the pipes before the passenger wheel. I have to roll down the windows to appreciate the sound.

super 40 vs delta flow 40

what would ya'll suggest b/t the super 40 and the delta flow 40.
I have an 02 f150 single cab flareside. 4.6L. I want to run dual pipes straight out the back with either the super or delta flow 40. Also, what size i/o do I need. I know I need/prefer the offset inlet, but other than that I don't know.
