I have a 2000 F-150 4X4 and was wondering what the stock tailpipe size is, from the Cat to the muffler and from the muffler out? I was thinking of replacing the stock muffler with a Magnaflow and was also wondering which of their mufflers require the least modifications to install.

Welcome ! 2.5" They're going to all need some pipe added since the factory trash can is so long. Get the muffler length that provides the sound characteristics that interest you.

 

Can someone also help me with catalytic converter sizes?

I have the 4.2L V6.

What are the in/out diameter sizes for the pipes on the converters?
