Borla Exhaust

I have a 2004 screw with the 5.4. I have pretty much decided on a borla split rear exit cat back. But before I dump near 600 bucks on it I would like to solicit the opinions, good or bad, from the experience of this board.

What improvements did you see. Was anything lost? How loud is the system and does it have any annoying characteristics. Basically if you have spent the money and installed it would you do it again.

I know if I spent that kind of money on something that sucked I would want to warn others.

Thanks!

I'm currently running a si/do borla on my 4.6 w/ just regular muffler shop tubing. When I bought the truck the exhaust was run into 2 4 1/2'' tips out back behind the passenger rear tire. It was a little to quiet for my taste so I decided to dump it 20'' behind the cab. Now it has about 20% more bark, a little bit of resonation (who don't like just a little bit ) and a nice growl when the auto. tranny downshifts. Can't really compare the sound to any other f-150 b/c borla really has a sound of it's own. I know our trucks are diff. engine sizes but I figured some info was better than none.
