Spintech Exhaust for 5.4

Well this is my first post. I have a friend who has a Spintech hiflow cat and muffler on her 98 mustang (6Cyl). It sounds mean, the deepest of tones from a mustang. I have the same exhaust on my 2.8 s-10 and it sounds really good since it was the worst engine GM ever made. Has anyone tried this setup on their 5.4? I am a brand new (proud) owner of my 1998 Xcab 4*4. I was also considering the Flowmaster 80's.

Post spintech

I understand those spintech mufflers flow real well. They create some kinda swirling action with their baffles. Personally i've never run 'em, cuz their a lil to pricey 4 me. In my opinion Magnaflow mufflers sound the meanest, with their deep bellows they seem to smooth out the exhaust note which helps quiet the sound to the driver and passengers. But hey thats my opinion! If you've had good luck with spintech, or flowmaster go with one of those, just don't open the tubing diameter to much cuz you'll lose some valuable torque. :rocker
