Unhappy need some exhaust help please, quick answers needed

HI everyone. I am posting for a friend of mine. He has a 2004 F150 4.6L V8, XLT extended cab with the suicide doors. He wants to upgrade the exhaust to aftermarket and looked into Magnaflow who told him that they dont have a model for his particular vehicle, he also looked into Gibson who said they only carry catbacks for the "standard cab short bed". He is very specific as to what he wants but doesnt know how to go about it. He would like his exhaust to be a little more aggressive in terms of styling (dual out the rear pipes) and sound......not wake up the neighbors loud, but a nice throaty growl. Anyone here have that specific truck like him, that has aftermarket catback?? How about flowmaster?? I read a post on here about the 40 series flowmaster being too loud and droning, but the 50 series SUV catback being a little quieter and better on the highway. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My buddy is retiring from the fire department after 30 years on the job and this truck is his gift to himself and he would just like things to go right and get something nice. Anybody out there help me out so I can help him out?? Also, he only wants bolt on items, no welding or going to the muffler shop. Thanks again.

I would say if he cant find it by a manufacturer, go to the muffler shop and have one made. Shouldnt be too expensive, and shouldnt take too long. i realize thats not the option he wants, but sometimes its the only option available.....

you'll get a little more power over stock, and it'll be pretty loud, not really bad though.if you want a little more power than that,i suggest a flowmaster 40,they're not very loud and it'll give it a nice tone with 3" or 3.5 tips.there really aren't and cons about just takin the muffler off,its really not that loud.but i'm a country boy and my version of quiet is somebody else's version of ear splitting so hopefully that helped a little
