High Flow Cats going on...How Loud?

I'm getting ready to put on a set of Carsounds (Magnaflow) High flow cats this week. I already have on a Magnaflow 18x8x5 SI/DO

Any Idea how much louder it is going to be with the 2 high flow cats on it vs the 4 that are stock. Motor is the 5.4L...

ie... 20% louder...30% louder ect...

Peace

I doubt anyone will give you an accurate percentage of increased noise. This upgrade is commonly done on Lightnings. I've heard it and the noise is substantial.

i heard a 5.4 SCREW with magnaflow mufflers and hi flo's and it sounded a decent bit louder than any catback wtih factory cats. It had a lot more crackle and sounded really deep.

Im also wondering how much louder they are cause ive got straight pipes on my truck now and im just wondering how much louder my truck would be.

They went on today. I'd say they are about 20% louder and significantly deeper.

Have not noticed any power gains or losses, but everyone says it will lose low end TQ and gain high end HP.

I just think it sounds bitch'n

did you get the regular cats (94000 series) off ebay or did you get the 94100 series (the shorter series cat converter)?
