FYI Flowmaster Install - 03 SuperCrew
The instructions for the install of the FlowMaster Force II tell you to remove the clamp at the front of the muffler and suggest that you may have to heat the connection for removal.
This is a crimped connection. The clamp has a heat sink. It will be necessary to remove the pipe about 18" closer to the engine near the y-pipe from the cats.
You will have to cut off the muffler. Do this as close to the connection as possible or you may be short some piping.
I reinstalled the heat sink after assembling the exhaust system.
