Question Magna Flow 15749

I am about to pull the trigger on a magna flow exhaust. They sound like what i'm looking for, some nice purring for my 5.4 with some performance increases. I don't think i want flow master loud.. plus in south eastern Ky it seems everyone has a flow master 40 on their truck. I don't know which is better in terms of DIDO or SISO... i recall that sometime ago magnaflow released a bolt on DIDO kit... anyone have this? What do you think about it? If you installed it yourself, could a moron (namely me) install this in a couple of hours?

SISO will give the best gains over the others, and give you better torque low in the rpm range....good for trucks. I have the 15609 SI/SO, and am very happy with it. Nice rumble, but not ghetto loud . I put it on myself in about 45 minutes. easy install. Go for it

Ditto on the SISO. Flowmasters are junk compared to Magnaflow. Whatever you do, get a stainless steel muffler. Sometimes garage installs require the joints to be split, although a hacksaw at an angle works fine.

It is great, very easy to install and I love the sound. The stainless looks unreal. It was the 15749 kit.

Troy,
IMHO I think you should go with SISO. I put mine on my truck (in the driveway) in 45 minutes max. If you can turn a screw driver then you have enough skills to install. The sound is nice, but isn't overpowering.

PS What is it, SE Kentucky or Knoxville? Cats or Vols? My family is from Hazard.

KY!

I'm from KY, HUGE Cats fan. But I just moved to knoxville to try and convert some of these heathens! JK. I'll root for the vols when they're not playin KY since everyone I work with is a vols fan... but on the inside I love kentucky and anyone that plays UT

I really like the DO look... but i'll give the SISO a shot... I can always sell it on Ebay if i don't like it...
