Silent but Deadly!

I'm looking for a complete high performance exhaust (headers, mufflers, etc.) that sounds like grandma's car. A little louder than stock is fine but not much. I prefer to drive a sleeper!

Sounds like JBA is a popular choice, but I'm not sure if the make a "quiet" muffler. Any suggestions?

I just had a single 40 series Flowmaster with 2 1/2" cat back and it's barely louder than stock. 2002 5.4L.

^^^ RIGHT...

If you want quiet, custom fab a long muffler. I watched a program (think it was on SpikeTV, TNT back then) where a guy had a muffler the length of his hotrod (4 or 5 foot long muffler). It was REALLY quiet!

I am looking for the same for my dad's F150 but with a 4.6L. He is in the US. I have installed many Gibson duels on GM trucks in Germany but they get loud after being on the autobahn at speed. He mainly wants SS and a little more umph for towing a 25ft travel trailer. I am trying to get as much umph without too much money for him. All Flowmasters I have used have been loud so that is out. Also I want to keep the trailer from getting dirty from the exaust so turndowns or corner outs would be best. Oh and he wants duels
