Gibson Exhaust & Headers?

Anybody install a Gibson dual split rear exhaust system and headers on their 04 F-150? First off, do they make it for the 04 yet and if so, how's the sound and performance? Thinking about it for my new 04 XLT.

They make the dual split rear for your model. The Gibson part number is 9520 for aluminized and 69520 for SS. The best price I found for my '03 was through Summit. Free shipping and no state tax for me. I'm not sure about the headers. But if you call Summit, they will call Gibson for you to find out and if Gibson has them Summit could get you a price on them too.

Thanks for the reply. Can you give me their website address? I like the sound of free shipping and no tax but then who doesn't.

Thanks in advance

this is the website http://www.summitracing.com/

I got the single sideswept on mine. I will tell you this, it is not loud at all. I will probably be replacing at least the muffler soon. And I would go with stainless if you do get it, mine is already rusting and only about 5 months old. Good luck.

mjipj,

I also had the swept side. After two years, it developed a rattle (loose baffle inside). Replaced the muffler with a Flo Pro and kept the tail pipe.

I'm much happier now......
