it has been said that a clogged/bad cat can smell like rotten eggs. If you need new cats, the factory replacements are VERY expensive. I know that theyre between 600-900 dollars each for my 98 4.6 and I have 4 of them!!

If you have bad cats, get on ebay and look up Magnaflow hi flo catalytic converters. Theyre about 100 bucks shipped per pair. They add sound and give you gains in hp and tq.
Good luck!

yea that smell was horrible on my old trooper. It was the cat alright. I replaced it with a highflow. I would do the same with yours.
