jsut wondering if there are better Y connectors than others. i saw on jeg's, they got flowmasters for 39.99, magnaflows are going for 35.00, but there is a difference in size and shape. it seems as if the flowmaster was longer while the magnaflow was sort of stout. any inputs?

 

To me, the Flowmaster Y-pipe looks like a better design than the Magnaflow, but I think that would be very hard to measure. They are both quite good. If you are space constrained, the Magnaflow is a bit shorter I believe.

 

I have a Magnaflow Y-pipe duel 2 1/2 to single 2 1/2 and I am disappointed with the quality. It is crimp formed and just feels cheap.
I will be doing the Y-pipe conversion but I will go with the Flowmaster Y collector.
