magnaflow muffler

magnaflow muffler

i have a 2000 xtra cab 4x4 5.4 what magnaflow si/so muffler 5x8x18 should it be - offset /center,center/ center,offset /offset,i will be just replacing the 2.5 in stock muffler,part # if known

I did this very thing and I believe I went with a offset/center muffler. I think the number on that is 12256. I got mine at Jegs for about $75. It gave me the exact sound I was looking for. I hope this helps ya.

i did the same, it is offset/center, i believe. i have a sound clip of mine if you are interested in hearing it, shoot me an email .

got mine from ebay for $35 used, and cost $45 for muffler shop to put it in.

Take Spacemans advice and listen to his clip. He is the one that convinced me of what exhaust setup to go with.

Davel...............................Space is right.

As for a good price.....call this guy, I got the ss delivered for $82, 5x8x18 part number 14256. They have great prices on the aluminized ones as well. I think the one Space was talking about was $58 plust shipping.
