need help bought 2003 supercrew want to add aftermarket exhaust what is recommended? don't want it too loud and don't like the drone like flowmasters.

 

I'm in the same boat or truck for that matter. I just purchased a '04 screw 5.4L and needing the same info.

 

You'll have a lot of people magnaflow. I'm thinking I will end up going this route myself. I've got the '04 Scab 4.6.

Do you want the catback system or do you want to piece it together? I've done lots of research and probably can give you sites for the best prices. Just can't help you on the decision, since I haven't been able to make up my own mind.

I have the gibson swept side and i like it alot. Not loud at all with a mild bassful sound. Has helped with fuel economy, but not as much as i hoped. I paid $300 for mine. hope this helps.

 

i put in a siso magnaflow (15609) on my '03 5.4 and it does great even with k&n fipk and max tuner. running duals is too much back pressure(even w/the 5.4) and you could lose horse power.
shes not loud, can have a easy conversation in the cab windows down.
