Question cutting off my exhaust pipe

i have a body lift on my truck so the exhaust pipe is a bit lower from the body than it used to be. i was wondering what the potential drawbacks would be, and where the best place to cut it would be. I rememeber seeing an f-150 with a body lift, and no exhaust pipe coming out of the back. any info wouold be appreciated.
thanks
jesse

you could just cut the tailpipe off and run a pipe out before the rear tire or just put a turndown tip on it, but i would suggest cutting out the muffer as well to add a little sound.

muffler is long gone. best thing i ever did. i was just wondering if i would have problems with the exhaust gases building up underneath the truck, or something like that.
