Before I buy a Flowtech Aluminized Fantom Catback kit for my 99 Expedition - just wanted to hear good or bad about them? Are they a TON louder than stock or just throatier under acelleration? The reason I'm looking at it is that I can pick up a complete aluminized kit with SS tip for less than $150

How did the Fantom kit work out. I am considering this as well. My current Heartthrob Racetruck exhaust is so loud in the cabin I can't hear myself think (not that I do it very often). I does sound good outside though. Anyway I need something quieter. $150 is a good deal, where did you find it?

 

I ended up not buying it - holding out for a Borla (or a Gibson Stainless kit)..... there was a guy on Ebay selling the one I was looking at - super quick with emails and even talked with him on the phone a few times... it was $135 shipped to me. I was worried for that CHEAP of a price I would regret it later. So I'm waiting for the weather to warm up enough so I can get a kit and do it myself.
