All in all.. Borla Rules..... No?

After messing with exhausts for to long for my truck and not being satisfied with any of the changes, (FlowMaster Delta 40's with Hi-flow Cat) (Gibson, DynoMax, etc) It has finally come to my realization that if I had just spent the initial extra cash on a Borla system in the 1st place, that I would have been MUCH happier sooner, and would have spent less than I ended up in the long run...

The FM40's were two quiet and I think I lost some power and they also rusted pretty bad in less than a year in FLORIDA! The Gibson was quieter than stock. (well, almost) and the Dynomax didnt have the deep throaty sound that I longed for....
(like the stangs with flowmaster original 40series)

So, now I have the Borla and man I gotta tell ya,,,,, I just couldnt be happier... I've effectively increased my low end power, and have FINALLY gotten the sound that i've been wanting and the quality of Borla is very obvious as soon as you look at and inspect them. The sound is very throaty and aggresive outside, while very smooth in the cab.

So, anyone else agree with me? Anyone have a Borla?
If you dont agree with me, than why do you not? And, what do you have and why do you like it?
Thanks....

Borla is excellent but i must say magnaflow is just as good or better, and a better value pricewise.

Fitment, quality of materials, assembly, look, and hardware in my system was all top notch. Everything, including the welds and hardware is stainless steel, and the polished finish on the muffler and tips is perfect.

My 2nd choice would have actually been the Dynamax "Ultra-Flow" series mufflers.... They are also stainless steel and have much better flow than the 'ol FlowMasters....
Magna's look sensational but the sound bites i've heard turned me away from ever actually trying them...
I know the sound bites dont always do justice, but.........

Which Borla did you get , dual our rear? I have the Gibson dual out in the original position. Thinking about a change but not sure what to get but considering the Borla.

Does the Borla have a lot of interior noise. I would like to hear a throaty sound at acceleration but don't want the "drone" at crusing speeds. My wife has a 2004 foreign SUV with Borla and a lot of "drone" at 65 or so mph- to the point of being bothersome to riders. Have not ridden in an F-150 with a Borla.

Did you install your Borla and did it go on easy. The Gibson came with a ton of parts and a pain to install without a lift and air tools.

I have a SuperCrew and thinking that an exhaust out the rear would give the acceleration sounds without too much interior noise.

Any thoughts? Thanks

I went with the BORLA ProXS staight.

Yes, I did the install as the HI-Flow Cat and dual exhaust had already been done when I had the FlowMaster 40 series Delta's installed..... All I had to do was take out the Flowmaster and put in the Borla....

Interior noise is probbaly gonna be a "personal" thing... I dont think the interior noise is bad at all... It's actually to quiet as I like to hear my exhaust rumble when i'm driving.. I dont really know what "drone" sounds like... (a tinny sound?)

IMHO, the Bassanni and DynaMax UltraFlows have a better more powerful sound, but I went with Borla for now cuz of the name and their reputation.... I'm happy, for now.......

My next will be one of the above mentioned...

You just can' go wrong with the Borla system. Going on three years with mine and have loved it. After about 6 months the tone does get a little more throatier. It does get better with age.

Does anyone know what grade of stainless steel Magnaflow uses in their products?
