Which one to choose

I've got a new '04 STX 4.6 regular cab truck. The darn muffler by itself is 31" long.

Does anyone think there will be a muffler and pipes made that will fill the gap even if the aftermarket muffler is a lot shorter?

In other words I don't want to cut and splice my existing exhaust. if I can't have a nice system that will allow me to change it back to stock if need be I'll leave it stock.

No permanent welded joints wanted and I would like to have everything mount using the stock hangers.

I really like the sound of the Magnaflow 14588.

Is all of this asking to much?

Magnaflow #15609 (I think) for single outlet in stock location or Magnaflow #15749 for duals out the back, both ALL stainless systems and very high quality. I did not have to hack my stock exhaust when I installed my #15749 Magnaflow. I could take it off tomorrow and put the stock system back on no problem. In fact, I have the stock system behind my garage in case I ever get rid of the truck and want to keep the Magnaflow.
